The more reading I do about the dos and dont’s of the LCHF diet, the more I realize that I am very lucky to be getting away with my small creature comforts so far…I am so grateful that I can lose this much weight while still enjoying my cup of coffee in the morning, a glass of wine each evening, and the occasional small bit of chocolate after a meal!

These small comforts are what has kept me going on this path. It rarely feels like I am giving anything up, and the rewards have been remarkable so far!

I expect that as I get closer to my goal weight that I will have to modify things a bit. That is where I hope that a strict Ketogenic regime (20 carbs maximum per day!) might get me over that final hurdle… But for now, I am glad to be able to ease into this new way of living.
