One of the things that makes the LCHF / Ketogenic lifestyle enjoyable for me is that I can still enjoy a glass of wine now and again without completely derailing my progress (at least so far, anyway).
MM is a craft beer enthusiast, and so I have always been the sole wine drinker here at our cabin home. With 5 generous pours in a 750ml bottle, it typically takes me the better part of a week to get through just one bottle! I have not found a boxed wine that I like well enough to solve the “single serving” dilemma. What I did find is a simple system for re-corking the wine bottle once I have poured a glass!
The Vacu Vin improves on simply re capping/corking the bottle by pumping the air back out of the bottle to help prevent oxidation and character/flavor loss while the wine is stored. The rubber stopper holds fast and “clicks” when you have successfully pumped the air back out of the bottle.
This was a personal purchase. I have not been rewarded in any way for this post/opinion. Just wanted to get the word out about a great product that helps me to easily stay within the boundaries of our new lifestyle!

Please note: I am not a doctor or nutritionist. While this LCHF and ketogenic diet experiment has worked well for me so far, your mileage may vary. This diet needs to be balanced correctly, in order to avoid potential side effects. It is always a good idea to discuss any major health decisions with your doctor before getting started.
